QUALITY CONTROL / QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER 

We’re looking for a Quality control / Quality assurance engineer to join our team and help us build on our success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Quality control and Quality assurance. 

Description:

 

A quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) engineer is responsible for ensuring that the products and services provided by a company meet the required standards.

They develop and implement quality assurance plans, test products and services to ensure they meet the required standards, and report their findings to management.

QA/QC engineers typically have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. They must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with quality assurance methods and tools.

To succeed in this role, you will need strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. You must also be able to work effectively within a team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the quality and quality of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to CivilArchitectural, and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.

  • Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.

  • Develop and determine all standards to perform inspections and tests on all procedures, oversee all testing methods, and maintain high-quality standards for all processes.

  • Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and quality materials.

  • Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules, ensure adherence to all procedures, and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.

  • Assist employees in ensuring knowledge of all quality standards, ensure compliance with all quality manuals and procedures, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.

  • Manage to lift all equipment, handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials, and perform quality audits per the required schedule.

  • Monitor an efficient system, record all project activities, and analyze all processes to ensure all work meets quality requirements.

  • Manage all work methods, maintain knowledge of quality assurance standards, monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes, and recommend corrective actions for all operations.

  • Develop a method statement for the activity, including risk assessment, job safety environmental analysis, and Inspection

  • Test Plan and Checklist based on project specifications.

  • Liaise with the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to the Consultant

  • Coordinate with the Consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for Inspection

TOOLS & MATERIAL CLERK

Duties/Responsibilities:

JUNIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR
 

Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Reporting to: Project Manager & Senior Quantity Surveyor


Description: providing necessary assistance to the construction supervision team with respect to all
financial aspects and contractual matters in the project, under the guidance of the Senior Quantity
Surveyor. Includes participation in the review and approval of interim payments, the variations and
other financial matters. They will assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in the analysis and evaluation
of all claims by subcontractors.

Responsibilities:


- Assist the SQS in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project.
- Participate, record and assist in the preparation of the minutes of the progress meetings.
- Streamline all cost and quantity records.
- Participate in recording the details and monitor the day works recording and process.
- Preparation of Subcontractor Work Packages
- Partake in the preparation of payments to Contractors.
- Partake in the auditing of payments to Contractors.
- Check and record measurements of completed work.
- Monitor Final Subcontract Costs

PURCHASNG & WAREHOUSE EXECUTIVE

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the Purchasing, shipping logistics and warehouse inventory.


Responsibilities

- Compile requests for materials, tools and equipment required on the various sites and offices/departments.

- Reach out to local suppliers for best pricing for said materials, tools and equipment required on site.

- Prepare purchase orders for local purchases

- Coordinate with Accounts for payments for materials when necessary (in the case where we don't have a credit account with the supplier or if our credit account is on hold and the item is needed urgently on site)

- Coordinate delivery of materials, tools or equipment with the local suppliers to the job sites

- Follow-up on any queries the Project/Site Managers or Stores may have regarding orders

- Track inventory and restock goods when needed

- Prepare Purchase orders for approved Overseas Orders

SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and help us build on our success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cost and contact management of any project – from initial estimates, right through to final acquisition of materials.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • A wide breadth of experience is necessary as the Company workload covers the full spectrum of industry sectors most notably residential development, hotels, offices, healthcare, and infrastructure projects.

  • Proficient in estimating, producing budgets and cost plans.

  • Managing the tender document taking off process including being part of, and sometimes leading, the measurement team.

  • Running projects post contract including carrying out interim valuations and certification, cost reporting and agreeing final accounts.

  • Ability to chair site progress meetings and taking minutes and issue instructions.

  • General contract administration (including issuing all necessary contract certification).

  • Site visits, assessments and projections for future work

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

We are looking for a reliable Construction Manager to plan construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.

Responsibilities

- Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
- Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
- Meet contractual conditions of performance

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT MANAGER

The Equipment and Tools Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all equipment and tools used by the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the equipment and tools department.

  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned equipment and tools

  • Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.

  • Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.

  • Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.

  • Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.

  • Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and tools to be maintained.

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

  • Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field • 10+ years experience managing construction projects 

  • • Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time  and within budget 

  • • Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and codes • Strong understanding of construction contracts as well as excellent  communication and negotiation skills

CRANE OPERATOR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Installing cranes on construction sites to hoist materials for assembly

  • Monitoring crane operation to ensure safe operation of equipment

  • Operating crane controls to move materials into position for assembly or disassembly

  • Inspecting the crane and its components regularly to ensure they are in good working order

  • Attaching lifting devices to objects to be lifted, such as boxes or beams, according to specifications

  • Communicating with other workers on the job site to ensure that they are aware of crane location and activities

  • Operating cranes used to lift materials such as steel beams, concrete blocks, piping, and machinery parts

  • Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure that it is safe for operation

  • Maintaining logs of crane use and inspection dates to comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations

  • Negotiate and execute contracts with vendors and suppliers

  • Negotiate and execute contracts with Contractors and Subcontractors.

  • Manage post-construction activities, such as punch list items, warranty claims, and closeout documentation

 

Skills/ Experience

  • Tower crane operators must have a valid operator’s license for the type of crane they will be operating. The type of license required depends on the weight capacity of the crane.

PROCUREMENT & LOGISTICS MANAGER

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

Receive purchase/equipment rental requisitions

*

Understand what is being requested

*

Research which vendors will supply goods being requested

*

Request proposals and quotations from vendors and check that goods are in stock

*

Evaluate proposals/quotations for most cost effective prices and negotiate prices where possible

*

Prepare, review and dispatch purchase/equipment rental orders

*

Organize delivery of goods from vendors to warehouse/sites

*

Handle inquiries about orders

*

Communicate with site clerks, ahead of time, on goods being delivered to site that day and who requested the goods so that person can be notified

by the clerk when goods arrive

*

Verify invoices received by site personnel are signed and billing information is correct

*

Reconcile requisitions with invoices to ensure all goods requested have been ordered and received.

*

Make sure invoices (with purchase order attached and checked) reach the office in a timely manner.

Track rental period for equipment being rented and at the end of rental period, either find out from site if the equipment must be returned or

period extended.

Maintain spreadsheets of materials commonly used on site with prices/quantities (where possible)
